Colchester music fans aged between 14 and 18 years are being given the chance to see top band Angry vs The Bear play an exclusive gig just for them on Saturday 13th November.

The Bull in Crouch Street decided to put on the gig, in conjunction with Keep Colchester Cool, as the opportunities for under 18’s to see live music with people of the same age are reduced in Colchester.

Dave Richards owner of The Bull said, “We have Angry Vs The Bear here on Friday 12th November but that is a strict over 18’s gig and we know the band has a great local following by people of all ages. We discussed the idea with the band and they jumped at the chance to play a charity gig for their younger fans the following evening”.

The doors will open at 5pm and Angry vs The Bear will be on stage at 5.15pm for the gig, taking place in The Soundhouse venue at the back of The Bull, which will have an alcohol free policy for the gig, and has its own separate entrance.

Tickets go on sale on Wednesday 3rd November and must be purchased in advance from The Bull in between 12 midday and 5pm, Wednesday to Saturday.

Tickets are priced at £3 with 100% of ticket sale proceeds going towards St Helena Hospice.
