DESCRIPTION:🌅 Don’t Let the Sun Set on Middlewick… Join us as we celebrate Midsummer’s Day with a Sunset ‘Walk for the Wick’ – and show that we or the wildlife of Middlewick are not going anywhere! \n✨ Date: 21st June 2025✨ Meeting Location: Middlewick Ranges (Lidl entrance)✨ Time:7:30PM  \n🌆 Sunset Walk: We’ll meet at 7:30pm for a sunset walk to see out the longest day of the year as it fades to night. \nAfter the Summer Solstice in the morning\, Midsummer’s Day\, the longest day of the year\, is a good time to reflect on Middlewick – and also a reminder of what’s at stake. This rich\, biodiverse and irreplaceable habitat\, which many species call home\, is still under threat from development. \nOur gathering and walk – with banners and posters of the wildlife which would be annihilated if plans for housing went ahead against council\, Natural England and local resident’s wishes – will be a celebration but also a resolute call to protect what and who cannot speak for themselves. \nGentle Reminder: Respect Our Wildlife.As we gather for this special event\, we kindly ask everyone to be mindful of the local wildlife. Let’s all do our part to ensure this beautiful place remains safe and undisturbed for the creatures who call it home.
