DESCRIPTION:Formed back in 2020\, Amalgam started out as a collection of musicians rehearsing over the internet at the time of ‘social distancing’. \nFrom this period emerged a collection of original material that went into the first album\, called “Colours”\, released back in 2023. \nThey will be performing a blend of original music along with an assortment of pieces from some of the greats of contemporary American and European jazz such as Pat Metheny\, Chick Corea and Arild Andersen \nAmalgam are: \nLawrence Harper (Trumpet)\nDave Whiting (Guitar)\nDave Lee (Keyboards)\nJason Nicholls (Bass)\nTrevor Taylor (Drums) \nEvent Details \nWhen: Friday 6th November\, 2026 \nWhere: Patch\, 24 Trinity Street\, Colchester\, CO1 1JN \nDoors Open at 7:00PM \nPerformance 8:00PM to 10:00PM \n£10 (inclusive of booking fee) \nThe Patch bar will be open – serving snacks & drinks.
