Course Outline
Week 1: Introduction to basic line drawing using pencil, pen, and charcoal. Learn how to draw from life, capturing form and detail.
Week 2: Experiment with continuous line drawing using string as your tool, creating unique textures and flow in your work.
Week 3: Discover negative space drawing by using cut-outs to shape and define your compositions.
Week 4: Engage in blind line drawing by creating expressive portrait sketches without looking at your paper.
Week 5: Explore contour line drawing using rubbings and oil pastels, adding depth and vibrancy to your pieces.
