The band features some of London’s finest musicians\, who have toured and recorded with artists as diverse as Paloma Faith\, Craig David\, Cat Stevens (Yusuf Islam) Plan B\, Tom Jones and Grace Jones. \n“Jamiroquai-influenced funk” ‘slight Massive Attack territory’\, the vibes of the Brand New Heavies\, Incognito and all sorts” ‘Amy Winehouse feel’ are all magazine quotes used to pinpoint Bassistry’s music. \nBassistry will play tracks from albums\, Short Stories\, What The Hell Do You Call This? And In Time produced with Ivor Award Winning producer Cassell the Beatmaker\, as well as\, In Time and EP Try This. \nThe albums combines Soul\, African\, Jazz\, Reggae\, funk and electronica.
