DESCRIPTION:Colchester Blues and Rock in the Garden! \nOn Saturday 4th July2026! \nIt’s our 27th (we think) year and we’re back and ready for a party! \n“Beautiful setting” \n“The atmosphere is incredible” \n“We loved it!” \nEntry limited to 500. We expect to sell out so please buy your tickets quick! Please also share and invite friends to the event! \nWhere else can you buy an 8 pint watering can of beer\, a plastic kettle of cider\, eat delicious food and listen to an eclectic mix of some of the finest music acts around (whilst also helping a good cause)? \n10 great bandsDelicious BBQ and vegetarian/vegan food & cake and dessertsFully Licensed Bar (including beer by the watering can!) \nIt’s the most diverse line up yet. Including Blues\, Rock\, Soul\, Pop\, Jazz\, Flamenco\, Balkan Gypsy\, Ska\, Dub\, Sea Shanties and Musicians from Malawi! \nThe line up will start with music at 14.00 until 23.30 pm. \n10—11.30pm Funktion Junction (Pop\, Rock\, Soul)9.00-10.00pm The Gulls (Rock\, Funk and Psychedelia)8.00-9.00pm Band of Fools (Gypsy Balkan)7.00-8.00pm Fox\, Wiggle and Sass (1940s Big Band Vocal Trio)6.00-7.00pm Tahir Burhan (Flamenco Guitar)5.00-6.00 Annemarie Quinn & John Fire (Upbeat Sounds from Malawi!)4.00-5.00 Armoured Man (Sea Shanties)3.00-4.00 Brewkelele (Ukelele Sing Along)2.00-3.00 Elmer’s Jazz Band (Jazz) \n(Times above are approximate and subject to change).  \nAll money raised is for charity. Building Malawi (http://www.buildingmalawi.com/) and Centurion Rotary.  \nWe are very proud to announce that Lingadzi Leadership Academy Secondary School opened in January 2022. This would not have been possible without the Blues and Rock in the Garden event. The years of support you have given to this event have really paid off. We are only doing Saturday this year\, but starting earlier to have more family activities.  \nThe first couple of hours will have a focus on Music & Art with live musicians\, an art exhibition and sale\, art workshops and\, of course\, refreshments!Great for all the family to get involved. \n” great for the family!” \n” a fun afternoon filled with creativity.
