SUMMARY:Calm At The Castle
DESCRIPTION:Join us on the first Sunday of the month for a little calm at Colchester Castle. \nThese sessions are suitable for visitors with ASD\, providing an opportunity for them to explore the museum at a quieter time. We aim to minimise sensory stimulation in the galleries by turning off audio and visuals and providing a sensory space off the main gallery. \nEar defenders\, visual guides and twiddlemuffs are available from the Museum’s reception free of charge. \nYou can find out more about our autism-friendly resources by visiting our Access page. \nThis event is included in Castle admission. There is no need to book; just purchase general admission tickets to the Castle\, or consider a Museums Pass to enjoy unlimited visits during the year!
