DESCRIPTION:Invasion Colchester returns for its 14th year! \nThe original sci-fi\, fantasy and comic book city-wide charity event is back in Colchester City Centre on Saturday 5 September 2026\, from 10am to 4pm. \nExpect characters from across sci-fi\, fantasy and comics\, show cars from TV and film\, special guests\, live performances\, family activities\, competitions and plenty more throughout the day. \nWhether you’re a fan of superheroes\, movie icons\, cosplay\, comics or cult classics\, there’ll be something for everyone to enjoy. \nMost importantly\, Invasion Colchester helps raise vital funds for three incredible local charities: St Helena Hospice\, Colchester & Ipswich Hospitals Charity\, and Mind (Mid & North East Essex) — all of whom provide essential support across our community. \nJoin us for a day of fun\, fandom and fundraising — and help make a difference!
