DESCRIPTION:Get ready for a spectacular night above Colchester! \nKing Coel’s Kittens return to Castle Park on Thursday 5 November 2026 for their 55th Annual Fireworks Spectacular! Bring your family and friends for an evening of entertainment\, the traditional Guy Parade and a dazzling fireworks display\, while supporting good causes in our local community. \nCastle Park\, Colchester\nThursday 5 November 2026 \nWHAT’S HAPPENING? \n• 5.30pm — Gates open and entertainment begins\n• 7pm — Guy Parade starts from the bandstand\n• 7.30pm — Fireworks spectacular! \nA selection of food outlets will be available by the Castle Café and the beacon in the upper park. \nTICKETS \n• Adults: £13\n• Children aged 5–15: £7\n• Children aged 3–4: £1\n• Under 3s: FREE\n• No concessions \nTickets are available through the Mercury Theatre or via [kingcoelskittens.co.uk](https://kingcoelskittens.co.uk/)\, with sales opening at the beginning of September. \nEntry is for ticket holders only. Please have your tickets ready to be scanned at the gates. \nENTRANCES \nGates open at 5.30pm at: \n• Museum Street\n• Both ends of the Folley\n• Roman Road\n• Main park gates by the war memorial \nThe organisers suggest the Roman Road entrance for lighter footfall. \nVIEWING INFORMATION \nThere is no designated accessible viewing area. The organisers suggest taking a position along the path by the bandstand. \nPLEASE NOTE \n• No alcohol\, sparklers or laser beams.\n• Bags may be checked on entry.\n• No animals\, except assistance dogs. \nA GREAT NIGHT FOR LOCAL GOOD CAUSES \nFunds raised help King Coel’s Kittens provide equipment for local community groups. Groups supported this year include Levelbest\, Kingsland Church\, Scout Groups\, Wivenhoe Allotment Group\, Stepping Stones and Emmaus\, alongside the Culver Square telephone box for books. \nGather your friends\, wrap up warm and join us for a sparkling evening in Castle Park!
