DESCRIPTION:Design\, typeset & print a card to take away! \nUsing an original Adana letterpress printing machine\, during the session you will learn the basic introductory principles of letterpress\, how to use and set up the presses to print a business card and how you can access equipment at the Makerspace in the future. \nLed by our Associate Artist Katie Kennedy. Attendees need to be 18 and over. All materials are included.  \nABOUT COLCHESTER MAKERSPACE – Ever harboured dreams of making your own pots? Fantasised about playing with ink? Perhaps you just fancy learning a new skill? Or you want to rekindle a love you had for a past hobby or practice? Colchester Makerspace is located at Trinity Works (just behind Patch\, a vegetarian plant-led café). We provide access to ceramics and printmaking equipment\, such as pottery wheels\, kilns\, risograph and screen-printing presses. We’re a community workshop with a vibrant program of classes.
