LOVE THE SYSTEM is our brand new event focusing on Rock, Punk and Indie music, and we’re kicking things off strong with this banging line up!

Jehenna

Five piece alternative rock from Norfolk, combining elements of metal, punk, and rock into an explosive sound for fans of Paramore, My Chemical Romance and Evanescence. A relatively recent group with only a couple of years behind them, they’re by no means inexperienced, having played extensively around East Anglia and wider regions and converting legions as fans as they went..

Featuring blinding guitar solos, beautiful vocal harmonies and delicate keyboards, blended together with fast punk passages and bang-your-head-heavy breakdowns, few are doing what Jehenna do as well as they are doing it. We’re honoured to have them headlining our first LOVE THE SYSTEM event, and are excited to see what the future holds for them!

Colchester legends Hoof! combine all manor of styles into their eclectic sound, delivering something akin to Mr Bungle, System of a Down, or Gogol Bordello. This troup fit can fit right into a lineup of rock, punk, indie or metal, and their music will leave you smiling, bemused and begging for more.

After years of doing the local circuit and joining festivals around the wider region, Hoof! are in the studio this year recording their debut album, a work of art guaranteed to blow you away…

Mountain Peaks

Selfs-stylised emocore three piece “Mountain Peaks” hail from Norwich, and return to Coda to open up our first LOVE THE SYSTEM event, after playing last year and unleashing their sound upon the people of Colchester for the first time. It’s good to have you back!

Somewhere between screamo and shoegaze, for fans of
La Dispute, Touché Amoré, Defeater, and Pianos Become the Teeth, this is shaping up to be their year, and they’re inviting you to be a part of it!
