SUMMARY:Make Your Own Festive Tealight House
DESCRIPTION:Create your own unique air-dry clay tealight house\, inspired by all things winter! \nWith gentle\, step-by-step guidance\, experiment with abstract\, symbolic\, or figurative designs to create a cosy decoration for your home or a handmade gift for someone special. \nWhat to expect \nBegin by learning how to shape and work with air-dry clay\, then build your house by adding different details\, textures and features. \nTake your time to experiment with the material and develop a design that feels uniquely yours\, with guidance available throughout the session. \nYou’ll leave with a finished tealight house\, ready to bring a warm\, cosy glow to your home or share as a handmade gift. \nGood to know \nAll materials are provided and no previous experience is needed. \nFood and drink is also available for purchase throughout the session from our cafés. \nThis workshop is suitable for ages 16+. \nAbout your tutor \nCroucherli is the work of ceramic artist Lizzie Croucher (she/her). Lizzie produces hand thrown pottery\, specifically one-off and small batch items\, with their own little personalities. \nHer ceramics are functional\, but also designed to bring smiles to faces. \nLizzie lives in Colchester with her partner & two dogs\, having been previously based in Kent\, London & Suffolk. \nLizzie also leads pottery workshops in and around Colchester\, as well as private potters’ wheel lessons from her home studio.
