DESCRIPTION:In partnership with Colchester Events. \n \nAll Tickets £26.50 \nGates 6pm\, show 7pm\nBring your own seats\nFinish 9.30pm approx\n \nThis is an outdoor event in the grassy surrounds of St Botolphs Priory (Next to Colchester Town railway station). \n \nPlease see the bottom of this page for full info. \n \nACCESS INFO\nThere will be step-free access to the site. \n \nIvo Graham: Despite extensive grooming for more serious careers at Eton and Oxford\, Ivo (now 34) has spent his entire adult life on the stand-up circuit\, winning So You Think You’re Funny? at 18 and since establishing himself as\, if not the UK’s poshest\, then certainly its most apologetically posh comedian. With a whopping ten Edinburgh Fringe Festivals under his belt\, including his 2019 hit show The Game of Life (nominated for Best Show and Best Joke)\, Ivo has a bumbling charm that snares audiences of all ages.\n\n \nOn TV\, he’s appeared on Have I Got News for You\, QI\, Mock the Week\, The Last Leg and Live at the Apollo. He’s quizzed with varying degrees of success on Pointless\, The Weakest Link\, House of Games and Mastermind\, and co-hosted Dave’s British as Folk in 2021. He’s earned his parents’ respect with appearances on Radio 4’s The Now Show\, The News Quiz\, Just a Minute\, Ivo Graham’s Obsessions and the drama Unite\, and has shoehorned Swindon Town references into many an episode of 5 Live’s Fighting Talk and BT Sport’s The Football’s On. \n \nIvo is a cult favourite among podcast fans\, thanks to memorable appearances on Quickly Kevin and Off Menu\, plus his own Gig Pigs\, a podcast celebrating live music with longtime friend Alex Kealy. 2023 saw Ivo competing — energetically if not successfully — on Channel 4’s Taskmaster\, and making bold (and arguably greedy) intrusions into the world of theatre (with his show Carousel touring to critical acclaim) and club night producing. His book\, Yardsticks for Failure\, published in May 2025\, recounts these and other adventures/calamities. Ivo returns to the Edinburgh Fringe this year with a brand new stand-up hour\, Orange Crush\, plus further theatre and club night offerings.\n \nKelly Convey (MC)\,  is an ‘in-your face and reassuringly confident’ (Chortle) comedian who is not one to mince her words when giving audiences an insight into what modern women really think. While her outspoken and forward-thinking musings may go against the grain\, ‘there’s a winning authenticity to her material’ (Chortle) that is refreshing and relatable. Kelly Convey is no doubt\, one to watch.Kelly has no filter when it comes to her opinions on sex and society\, sharing in her hilarious wholehearted performance that will make you feel like you’ve known her for years. With a face like butter wouldn’t melt and a mouth like a white van man\, Kelly brings a side-splitting and strangely refreshing mix of feminine and ladette style to subjects’ women rarely talk about in public. As seen on ITV2’s The Stand Up Sketch Show. \nKelly can be seen regularly supporting some of the biggest names in comedy on the road\, including Alan Carr\, Russell Kane and Joanne McNally. \n\n \nKyrah Gray\, comedian\, actress and presenter Kyrah Gray began her comedy career in 2019 and has been making waves on the circuit ever since. Kyrah has secured impressive gigs across the UK\, and in 2023 she graced the prestigious O2 Arena stage as part of Mo Gilligan’s Black British Takeover. She has also supported Axel Blake\, Tom Davis\, Ziwe\, Guz Khan\, Judi Love\, Romesh Ranganathan\, Celeste Barber\, Jamali Maddix\, Russell Kane and others on tour. \n \nPeter Rethinasamy was born and raised in Belfast to a Malaysian father and Irish mother\, Peter is a comedian with hard hitting\, punchy jokes and hilarious tales of growing up in Northern Ireland.Since he started performing stand up\, he has reached the semi-finals of the Laughing Horse New Act Competition and won the London Comedy Store’s King Gong Competition. Recently Peter has been supporting Judi Love\, Seann Walsh\, Kerry Godliman\, Russell Kane and Tom Allen on tour around the UK. \n\n\n\nPLEASE READ… \n \n\n\n \nWhat you’ll need to bring: \n \nSeating – fold up chairs\, benches etc. Or a good old fashioned blanket.
