The Strictly Vinyl Collective Presents: An Evening of Old School Grooves

The Strictly Vinyl Collective in Association with Soul Tribe and Vinyl Hunter Essex Present an Evening of Old School Grooves @ Truth Colchester on 22nd April 2023. Kicking off at 9pm and going through till 3am.

Extended over 2 rooms (downstairs and upstairs) there will be 12 DJs playing the finest sounds from way back when, exclusively mixing on Vinyl using the supreme Technics SL1210 Turntables.

The EMBASSY SOUL KNIGHTS are these iconic DJs; Dave Malone, John Douglas, Guy Palmer, Les B, Floyd Fresh, Bazz and and will be downstairs in room 1 bringing you authentic Soul & Jazz Funk classics in abundance.

BACKROOM SESSIONS in room 2 upstairs will be laying down the Warehouse sounds of House, Acid and Techno from back in the day of ’88-’95. There’ll be sublime turntable action coming from these esteemed DJs; Cyberdog, Vinny, Les Broughton, Ritchie Khanage, Rob Perfect and Archie B.
