Wivenhoe Funny Farm BACK on Tour at the Horse and Groom
Thu, June 10 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
WE’RE BACK! (booking info at bottom (tee hee) so please read)
Thursday 10th June 6.30pm to 8.30pm – doors 5.30pm (when pub opens)
Top notch socially-distanced live stand-up comedy from:
Headliners: Brian Damage & Krysstal
“Legendary… Brian Damage and top strangely straight-woman Krysstal… are a oneoff cross-genre act but they have echoes of The Bonzos, the heyday of music hall and some rather seedy country and western club… I laughed like a drain” John Fleming, Chortle.co.uk
“ – as daft and charming as they are funny… “The Stage
“ – intelligent comedy, downright dirty stuff and silly songs” (SXNews, Sydney)
“Brian Damage is a legend on the London Comedy Circuit….cracking deadpan act.” Chris Wilson – StandUpCom Magazine
“Had me in stitches with her witty observations and social judgements.” bbc.co.uk
“laugh- out loud funny, wonderfully bizarre ideas.” Chortle
“Stand-up as it should be.” Three Weeks
AND Jo Fletcher-Cross
MC Hazel Humphreys
Also the fabulous Matt Selley will be back providing sweet music in the intervals!
ALL BOOKINGS NEED TO BE CONFIRMED VIA HAZEL – email – FUNNYFARMCOMEDY@GMAIL.COM
We will be asking for donations to help pay acts for reservations. Recommended £6 donation per seat booked but whatever you can manage.
This is an outdoor gig at The Horse and Groom Pub, Wivenhoe starting 6.30pm (doors 5.30pm), there is limited socially distanced seating available in the Stables (wooden shelter) and under the Marquee and in the beer garden. We will be requesting donations for table reservations in order to help us pay our professional acts. This would be preferable via BACs in advance but we will collect donations on the night too. Please book tables and sit within your own social “bubble”. Also for everyone’s comfort and safety please follow the social distancing and hygiene measures in place at The Horse and Groom. Sign in on arrival. Wear facemask when not seated. The Funny Farm would recommend bringing the following: warm clothes (it may still get cold), mozzie repellent & waterproof (just in case!), face masks (not required when seated).
We are looking into possibly providing a live online stream for anyone who can’t get to the actual show – with donations for the acts welcomed. This is a cracking comedy line-up in a safe, risk-assessed environment with pro comics and the Funny Farm needs the audience’s help in covering the costs.
For queries about booking seats in advance email email@example.com
Suggested minimum donation £6
