DESCRIPTION:Pay what you can afford  \nDoors open 7:30 pm\, Show starts 8 pm \nThis show is for a seated audience\n\nDuration: 60 minutes\n\nAction Hero are preparing something for the audience. A song and dance. \n\nIts no big deal. Just a little something. A collection of memories\, musings\, colourful costumes\, light entertainment\, comic relief\, dancing\, really easy stuff\, really good fun stuff. To help us all get by. To get through the day. To get through the week. To get through the year. To get on with it. Without a fuss. \n\nYou’re in very safe hands\, we’ve done this many many many times before. \n\nIn a Song and Dance\, a performer is lost in his own repeating anxiety dream\, trying to stay on topic and keep the show on the road. As he gradually loses the plot\, distracted by the ghosts of previous shows & his own unfeasible life story\, the show starts to unravel. He competes with himself and his intrusive autobiography as he wrestles to keep everything on track\, to keep the dances coming\, to keep himself to himself. \n\nA Song and Dance is a comical and slightly disordered show about masking\, performing and ‘putting on a show’.\n\nPress quotes \n\nthrillingly funny and strange…Beckett’s hip\, pop-culture savvy descendants\n–	Time Out London on previous work\, The Talent \n\nI have never seen a show from these artists that didn’t make you sit up a little straighter and want to peer a little more closely\n–	Lyn Gardner\, Stagedoor\n\nAbout Action Hero \n\nAction Hero create artworks that explore what is it to be human now. From stage to page to audio to immersive interaction\, Action Hero create structures for people to experience alternative ways of being together. Previous projects have toured to more than 40 countries across 6 continents\, to both critical and popular acclaim. They have been shortlisted for the Live Art Prize\, a Total Theatre award\, and won an Off West End award for Best Performance\, and a Critics Table award for Best Touring Show.
