It’s true, you can draw! If you can sign your name then you have the dexterity to draw. The most important element in drawing is to see and interpret your subject.

Carole will demonstrate a variety of techniques aimed at helping you to learn to draw accurately, master shading techniques and build up textures.

Working in the classroom from a variety of natural objects, we will be looking at the effects that can be achieved by using different grades of graphite pencils, creating dramatic tonal contrast with charcoal and a kneadable eraser, and ink drawing with both a twig and a fibre tipped pen. By the end of the day you will be viewing the world in a whole new way!
