SUMMARY:Artists Against AI ft. Rad Pitt + Butterfly Handshake + Filip Rodak + Disjunction + Kinozolte
DESCRIPTION:All Tickets £8 / £7 concessions.Doors open 6.30pm\, first band on 7pm.This show is for a standing audience. \nA special evening dedicated to countering the deteriorating conditions for musicians and creatives\, caused by Artificial Intelligence systems. \nThe biggest threat to independent artists this year is AI music\, digital garbage that floods streaming platforms\, further decreasing the chance of real artists being heard and fairly compensated. The music industry is still heading in the wrong direction\, artists are being thrown to the bottom of the pile\, when they should be first. \nThis is an art industry\, but it’s become more about exploitation than expression. \nArtists Against AI is dedicated to changing that. For the first time ever\, six local acts will walk onto the stage at the Colchester Arts Centre and do something that AI can never do\, perform music for the greater good of humanity. \nRad PittColchester’s Rad Pitt have stayed true to their founding ethos since 2015: play fat riffs and keep it DIY. Throughout their time together\, they’ve churned out three albums and played many shows. From a Sunday morning opening set at Latitude festival\, to a set at ATG in a tent surrounded by a biblical rain shower\, to supporting some of the heroes of the underground scene including The St Pierre Snake Invasion and Alpha Male Tea Party. Rad Pitt are Colchester’s heavyweight champions of hard-core math rock. Now they are preparing to tear up the stage at Artists Against AI for two reasons\, A. to prove that the name “Rad Pitt” is self explanatory and\, B. to kick AI’s fake ass! https://www.instagram.com/radpittradpitt?igsh=N3JwMWRuMDcwbWNt \nButterfly HandshakeButterfly Handshake are known more as a legend than a band\, but still they prove every time they take a stage that there’s a very good reason for that! Offering their a mix of both their original material and a blend of midwestern emo and cult rock classics\, Butterfly Handshake are one of the tightest bands to come out of Colchester in the last few years\, but have become increasingly rare due to it’s members finding huge success in other projects. Every Butterfly Handshake performance marks a unique point in cultural time\, and their performance at Artists Against AI is going to be very special indeed.https://www.instagram.com/butterflyhandshake?igsh=dnNucHNzOG42djEy \nFiliprodak (Kinlis)Filip has a unique talent for making electronic music that can make an entire crowd of people jump around. A wizard with a soundboard\, Filip’s presence can be felt from a mile off. He comes through to deliver an unforgettable performance at Artists Against AI\, that is not to be missed!https://www.instagram.com/filiprodakk?igsh=em1hNHYzOTFhM2Nk \nKinozolte Jack-of-all-trades soon-to-be megastar producer\, singer\, rapper\, and songwriter Kinozolte has played the Arts Centre before. Standing on stage with a microphone and a crowd full of people with their hands in the air in front of him\, he offered an exhilarating performance. Fresh off of the release of his new album “Ethereal Distortion”\, the name Kinozolte is on everybody’s tongue right now!https://www.instagram.com/kinozolte?igsh=cnl3MXRkN3pldWFh \nHenry BowenHenry Bowen cannot be described in one word\, and neither can his stage presence. Backed by a full band and a head full of ferocious rhymes\, Henry Bowen brings an animalistic energy to a show that offers a one-of-one experience every time. Performing songs off of his upcoming album “SPEEDBOAT MUSIC”\, his performance at Artists Against AI will be talked about for years to come. https://www.instagram.com/apology.not.included?igsh=dnM4NmphNGM4bW0w \nDisjunctionIf you are local to Colchester\, you must be living under a rock if you haven’t heard of Disjunction! Theo’s groovy slap basslines\, Ned’s on-beat drum rolls\, and Kai’s catchy guitar riffs are instantly recognisable. Disjunction always bring a party! Having recently released their self titled EP to much acclaim\, Disjunction usually offer a set full of their original music\, and maybe a few classics too. https://www.instagram.com/disjunction_band?igsh=MThiZnNwZjEydGtjYg==

SUMMARY:The Music of James Bond - Charter Hall - Colchester
DESCRIPTION:The Music of James Bond \nFrom the moment the first chord strikes\, audiences are transported into the mysterious and thrilling world of James Bond. This incredible Chamber Orchestra brings the legendary music of James Bond to life in a way that is bold\, elegant and utterly unforgettable. \nThis is more than a concert – it is an orchestral tribute to one of cinema’s most iconic legacies. Across six decades\, the music of Bond has been defined by extraordinary voices: Dame Shirley Bassey\, whose soaring performances of “Goldfinger”\, “Diamonds Are Forever” and “Moonraker” set the gold standard; Adele\, whose Oscar-winning “Skyfall” became an instant classic; Sam Smith’s haunting “Writing’s On the Wall”; and Billie Eilish’s powerful and poignant “No Time To Die”. These songs – and the artists behind them – have given Bond its unmistakable sound. \nPerformed by world-class musicians and vocalists\, every note echoes the sophistication of the James Bond universe. The sound of sweeping strings and bold brass stirs images of high-speedcar chases\, exotic escapes and unforgettable encounters. The sultry tones of the singers evoke Bond’s timeless glamour. \nThis is a night where music and cinema intertwine\, where audiences don’t just listen to – they feel it\, they live it. \nThe Great British Film Orchestra is dedicated to celebrating the soundtracks that have defined the golden age of cinema and beyond. With each performance\, we honour the artistry ofcomposers and storytellers who have given us moments that transcend the screen. \nSo\, don your finest attire\, raise a glass and prepare for an evening of breathtaking music and the unmistakable thrill of James Bond. \nDisclaimer: This concert is an independent tribute production. With TV appearances and live performances across both the UK and Europe\, the band has earned an enviable reputation for being unquestionably the most accurate and authentic live experience for Kate fans. \nSignificantly\, they are the only band in the world to have performed Kate’s music with her original bass player and long standing sound engineer Del Palmer\, as well as drummer and percussionist Preston Heyman who appeared on the Tour Of Life\, Never For Ever & The Dreaming. The band has also performed with Stewart Avon-Arnold – Kate’s co-choreographer and dance partner who appeared with her in so many of those iconic videos and performances throughout her career. That’s quite an endorsement for Cloudbusting but it also stands as a reflection of the talent\, tenacity and passion that the 5-piece band has for Kate’s stunning music. \n‘I could have been listening to Kate herself!’ – Preston Heyman \nWith tickets to shows selling out fast\, be sure to look out for tour dates near you – Cloudbusting would love to exchange the experience!
