Created and performed by Lydia Keating and John Harper\, the show began life as a five-minute rhyming sketch performed at cabaret nights in London\, Paris and Tallinn. Audiences kept asking for more — so naturally\, the pair wrote an entire 50 minutes of chaos. \nBlending clown\, physical theatre and rapid-fire rhyme\, the show begins innocently enough with a playful demonstration of rhyming words before spiralling into an increasingly absurd world of marital role-play\, counselling sessions\, medication adverts\, mistaken assumptions and ever-shifting realities. Nearly two thirds of people said they’d like to turn to a book in times of stress\, anxiety or illness. Their current line-up comprises Gwendal Moële – Vocals / Val Woollard – Flute\, Bagpipes and Recorders / Phil Lyons – Guitar and Vocals / Simon Haines – Diatonic accordions. \nGwendal Moële & Paul Riley are an established duo who present a programme of 20th century French chansons\, including songs by Edith Piaf\, Charles Trenet\, Jacques Brel ad others. Paul’s jazzy\, bluesy guitar style is the ideal accompaniment to Gwendal’s powerfully sensitive vocals. \nCorbeau’s approach to French Balfolk draws on traditional and contemporary compositions\, taking inspiration from dances across France. DESCRIPTION:Tickets £7 adult\, £6 child\, £22 family (including at least one child)\nChildren under 3 years are free but require a ticket when booking\nDoors 12.30pm\, show 1pm\nThis show is for a seated audience\nAge Guidance: Ideal for 4 to 8 year old's and their families.\n\nPlease note: For family shows the bars are closed and you are welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks. \n\nBooster Cushion Theatre's ‘Old McDonald and the Three Pigs Plus…’ weaves the well known story of the Three Pigs with the rhyme Old McDonald Had A Farm. Featuring a 5m wide Big Book with 2m pop ups\, bright colourful pages and lots of silly animal props.\n\n\nThe Three Pigs are fed up with singing “Eee aye eee aye oh!” every day and bravely decide to move away from Old McDonald’s farm. Join the kind farmer and all of their animal friends in helping the little pigs build homes of their own\, but beware\, the big bad Wolf is on the prowl. Can you help save the day and stop the wolf blowing all the pigs hard work away?\n\nA colourful and fun interactive production\, full of props\, pop ups and audience participation! The children help identify farm produce\, sing and take part as the animals on the farm.
