Step into Spring with us this month! The March market features a Seed Swap stall run by Transition Wivenhoe Allotment Group. Bring your spare seeds and pick up someone else’s surplus! Also the tool sharpening stall will be back so bring your garden tools ready for the new season. Mother’s Day is coming up on 31st March and you’ll find lots of cards and gift ideas.
Regular stalls include locally raised meat (including biodynamic and organic), locally grown fruit and vegetables, and locally made jams and preserves, crafts, cards, jewellery, soaps, handsewn accessories and soft furnishings, cakes and savouries (including vegan), and quality preloved clothing. There are also also refill stalls for dry foods and household cleaning, laundry and personal care products – bring your own containers and bags please! Please note, no craft beer this month but we expect them back in April.
Wivenhoe Woodcraft Folk will run a swap stall for kids’ clothing and school uniform. Bring any unwanted/outgrown items to the market, or to arrange pickups of donations if you can’t bring it yourself on the day – email [email protected].
The market cafe offers amazing lunches and snacks with lots of vegan and gluten free options plus teas, coffee and soft drinks. There will also be live music from our busking spot and a craft activity for children.
Contact [email protected] with any queries or to apply for a stall or busking session.
Full stalls list will be added here nearer the time!
