April 10, 2025

Unleash vibrant layers and captivating depth in your prints with the magic of Reduction Linocut.

Your are booking a two day workshop: Thursday 10th April 6.30pm – 9.30pm Dive into throwing on the potter’s wheel.
Sunday 13th April 10.30am – 1.30pm Learn to turn your creations into beautifully finished pieces.
This captivating technique involves progressively cutting away your lino block, printing each layer on top of the last to build up a rich, multi-layered image. It’s a thrilling process of planning, carving, and printing, where each step reveals new possibilities.
Special Offer: Book all three of our monthly lino sessions in February, March and April and save 15%. Simply enter the code ILOVELINO at the checkout.

How does it work?
– Start with the lightest color: Carve away all areas that will NOT be printed in this first layer.
– Print the first layer: Ink your block and print it onto your paper.
– Carve again: Cut away more of the block to reveal the areas for your next color.
– Print the second layer: Ink with your new color and print it over the first layer.
– Repeat: Continue carving and printing each subsequent layer, working from light to dark, until your final image emerges.

Why is Reduction Linocut so special?
– Luminous Layers: Create stunning depth and dimension with overlapping colors.
– Unique Variations: No two prints will ever be exactly alike!
