We are excited to be welcoming Laurence Edwards, one of the UK’s most compelling contemporary sculptors to The Minories for a special double screening followed by a Q&A with artist and Minories Board member Jevan Watkins-Jones.

Laurence will screen two short films – ‘A Thousand Tides’, which follows a life-sized bronze figure startlingly submerged within the mudflats of Butley Creek and ‘The Yoxman’, which follows the making of a 26-foot sculpture, now standing on the A12 in Yoxford.

Each film gives a rare insight into the two different processes and how the creative idea morphs into an extraordinary public work.
After each film, Laurence will talk about the back stories of the sculptures and will take your questions.
