6.72°C The Mercury Theatre is taking over Colchester Town Hall on Friday, 2nd March 2018, for a spectacular gala dinner in support of its Mercury Rising capital appeal.
The appeal aims to transform the Mercury Theatre and enhance its offering to the Colchester community, and this special fundraising evening promises entertainment, elegance and a touch of theatrical flair.
The event will be hosted by Richard Wilson OBE, best known for his award-winning role in One Foot in the Grave, and widely respected as both a stage actor and director.
Guests will enjoy a champagne reception followed by a three-course meal with wine, complemented by after-dinner entertainment, stories, fundraising games and an exclusive auction.
Live music on the night comes from singer Toni Lee and band Barney and the Rubbles.
Tickets are priced at £75 and are available via the Mercury Theatre website.
