There’s a strong night of live rock lined up at The Twist on Saturday, 9 October 2010, in aid of Oxjam, raising funds for Oxfam GB.

Oxjam is a month-long music festival taking place across the UK throughout October, organised by people passionate about their local music scenes. Since launching in 2006, the festival has raised more than £1.2 million for Oxfam’s work worldwide – funding everything from emergency shelters to classrooms and livestock for communities in need.

The Colchester event promises a packed bill of local live talent, with all proceeds supporting Oxfam’s projects. Organisers are encouraging people to donate, buy tickets, and even sponsor the event to maximise funds raised.
