9.29°C On Sunday, 18 July 2010, Christine and Michael Lavelle will host the launch of their latest book at the Café in The Minories on East Hill, Colchester.
Their new title, The Practical Step-By-Step Book of Allotment Gardening, is a complete guide to growing fruit, vegetables and herbs on an allotment, packed with easy-to-follow advice and illustrated with more than 800 photographs.
The afternoon will include a book signing, along with copies of other titles by Christine and Mick, including:
How to Create a Wildlife Garden – winner of the British Garden Writers’ Guild Gardening Book of the Year (2008)
Organic Gardening – winner of the British Garden Writers’ Guild Best Practical Book of the Year (2003)
Everyone is welcome to attend the launch, which runs from 2pm to 4pm.
