It is always exciting for us to launch a new novel by James Henry in his series set in Colchester. This one is set in the early nineties. The main character is now DS Daniel Kenton and he has a new unorthodox sidekick called DS Brazier. Thanks to another local author, Edward Cox, for agreeing to host the evening. James Henry will also be our Local Author of the Month for both January & February.

The Winter Visitor could well be the darkest, most twisted thriller yet in the series. Kenton & Brazier team up to investigate the murder of a drug smuggler who is lured back to Colchester from his exile on the Costa Del Sol. Could there be links between this murder and a sophisticated arson attack on a Norman church as well as the apparent suicide of an ageing florist? If you enjoyed Blackwater and the other novels in the series, don’t miss this launch for the fourth one.
