BEER & HYMNS @ St Leonard’s.
Raise your glass, raise your voice, and raise the roof for the first ‘Beer & Hymns’ evening in St Leonard-at-the-Hythe church in 700 years!
The wonderful church organ will be playing full throttle, so fill your glass (a few times maybe) and sing your heart out to some classic hymns.
Come and sup cask beers from local breweries. There’ll be breaks to top up your glass, visit the BBQ and explore this wonderful mediaeval church. This is not a religious service – just a chance to belt out some favourite hymns without a collection plate being passed around!
Doors open 6pm – 9pm… free entry.
Bus route S4 from Colchester city centre and Town railway station passes the door. Hythe railway station is just around the corner.
All proceeds from Beer & Hymns will support the aims of Friends of St Leonard-at-the-Hythe and the exciting future of this wonderful ‘redundant’ church: More details at: https://www.stleonard-at-the-hythe.org.uk/visiting-the-church
