Every month, on the first Saturday, you’ll find Colchester Farmers Market on the gorgeous Piazza outside The Mercury Theatre when a wonderful line up of nearly 30 stalls join us selling a range of products including local honey, freshly baked slices of cake and brownies, amazing doughnuts, fresh apple juice and loose apples, a range of biodynamic vegetables and organic salt marsh lamb, fresh, local beef and pork, raw milk, local sausages and freshly baked breads & sourdoughs.
You’ll also find homemade pies, local cheeses, jams, pickles and chutneys, local gin, local wine, handmade chocolate and during growing season, a range of beautiful flowers and plants.
And for lunch? How about freshly baked, stuffed New York style bagels and delicious samosas and paneers.
Each month we have a small number of gorgeous handmade crafts including hand block printed organic cotton bags, natural skincare products and beautiful coastal inspired jewellery.
Everything that is sold at the market will be produced by the person who is selling and all have been produced locally.
Parking is a two minute walk away in St Mary’s Car Park.
Dogs are welcome at the market.
