Day of the Dead – Dance & Crafts Workshop
In Mexico, the Day of the Death is a big holiday of colour to celebrate life and remember those who have passed to the afterlife.
It is originally an Aztec tradition that has moulded through the years.
In this Dance Workshop, we have added an additional activity of craft making to allow the opportunity to learn more about the culture and traditions behind it and give meaning to our Dance Learning.
We’ll start the day by crafting Papel picado and Marigold flowers.
You will then learn a traditional Aztec Dance and we will close the session with Fun Party Dances that we enjoy in Mexico during this festivities.
Opportunity to wear Day of the Death make-up or Flower headbands if you like!
Please note that this is an adult workshop, hosted by a Dance school, specialised in classes and Dance workshops for adults.
14-17 year olds are allowed when accompanied by an attending adult.
