Explore the Unexplained
Join a team of paranormal researchers, historians, and those well-versed in the unknown for an evening of insight, discussions, and an investigation from 7 PM to midnight on February 1st. Get an introduction to paranormal investigative tools of the Victorian era, followed by the adaptations that underpin the electronic tools used today!
Both the Castle and Hollytrees Museums will be used for interactive experiments, lone vigils, group tours, and more, putting into action all that is being taught throughout the night. If you have your own equipment, you are welcome to bring this along for your own use. However, paranormal investigators to be or not to be, beware! Not all bumps in the night are paranormal.
We will discuss belief, what influences belief, and the unreliability of our perceptions. Tea and coffee will be provided throughout the evening to help keep everyone alert.
So, whether you are a well-seasoned investigator or a novice, there is something for everyone. All we ask is that you keep an open mind and open eyes and be respectful to guests, the Castle, and all those who dwell there.
This event is suitable for ages 18+. Tickets are £40 per person.
