Join us for late cocktails and strange happenings. DJ’s create a sonic backdrop to a bizarre, surreal and at times truly mystifying collection of performances! Relax and enjoy the whole gallery, our bar, our building and our bonhomie for the evening.

Experimental Sonic Machines
Experimental Sonic Machines is a solo acoustic & electronic music project by Peter K Rollings, based in Lincoln UK. It started in 2010, developing home-made music instruments & machines, plus costumes inspired by science fiction, history & ancient art. Scrap materials are used rather than buying new, plus power cells that are run-down & usually disposed of, & some solar power. There’s a robot drummer called Ernie who celebrated his 10th birthday in December 2023. Experimental Sonic Machines have played at countless open mics, gigs, festivals & busking. All the music is original, plus improvisation, expressing an admiration for nature, the universe, & incorporating motifs from his art. No show is the same, & there are plans for new songs, costumes, & instruments. Experimental Sonic Machines has a Facebook page, plus CDs, badges & models.
