Buglife – the Invertebrate Conservation Trust – is playing a vital role in the battle to save Middlewick. On Monday evening, CNHS welcomes Jo Loman, community warden of Canvey Wick nature reserve, which Buglife manages in partnership with the RSPB.
Jo will tell us all about this unique, ex-industrial site, which is a carefully-managed blend of grassland and scrub habitat, sitting alongside important estuarine habitats.
