The Jackson Line + Jack Browning + Lucy Blu

October 26, 2023

Following appearances at the Black Deer Festival, Nashville Meets London, and a sold-out headline London show, The Jackson Line return to Essex for an upbeat acoustic show full of songs, stories and harmonies.

Harmonies are front and centre in The Jackson Line, who deliver a modern take on classic Country and Americana. While they’re comfortable sitting in the country genre, each member brings a wide range of differing influences to the table to create thoughtful, melodic songs, which capture the essence of country while allowing their other influences to shine through.

The band will be playing songs from their forthcoming EP, California, recorded in Winnipeg, Canada with Juno Award-winning producer Murray Pulver (The Bros. Landreth, Katy Hurt).
The first single, Shade of the Pines, featured on Apple Music’s ‘Today’s Country’ editorial playlist, while the second, Gonna Get To You, was showcased on Baylen Leonard’s Front Porch on Absolute Country as well as on Countryline Radio.

Jack Browning

Jack Browning is a 25-year-old artist and musician hailing from London (UK), but takes inspiration from all over Europe and the United States. A sucker for folk, blues, rock and country music, Jack divides his time between the recording studio, the art studio, and touring the UK and Europe. Raising beers and cheers equally, Jack weaves a line drawing from traditional titans and new-age outlaws alike, from Neil Young, Tom Petty, Tom Waits and Bruce Springsteen through to Townes Van Zandt, John Prine, Willie Watson, Charley Crockett and Colter Wall.

Lucy Blu

Coming from a family of record store owners, Lucy has always had an appreciation for music that looked beyond genre labels.

It was in country music that Lucy’s voice truly felt at home, but as she began her journey as a songwriter she never lost that passion for rock, soul and blues. With influences spanning Linda Ronstadt, Kacey Musgraves, Sheryl Crow and Kelly Clarkson, Lucy effortlessly blends traditional and modern sounds to create music that appeals to fans of all genres and eras.

Her live shows are energetic and engaging, perfectly displaying her relatable, witty, and nuanced songwriting. Her career continues to go from strength to strength, and if asked, Lucy would say this is down to one important factor: That she is, first and foremost, a dedicated music fan.
