The Smashing Pumpkins (Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlin, and James Iha) are one of the most iconic, iconoclastic, and influential bands of all time, shaping alternative music and culture. They will be performing their era-defining show in Colchester on Thursday 14th August, with special guests.

Since forming in Chicago during 1988, the group have sold over 30 million albums worldwide and garnered two GRAMMY® Awards, seven MTV VMAs, and an American Music Award.

Mellon Collie ranks among the best-selling double albums ever, and the band defined the true sound of grunge (Tonight, Tonight won MTV’s Video of the Year, amongst other nods as one of the best singles of all time). Famed for their super-long headline sets, this is a rare opportunity to watch one of the greatest legends of alt-rock.
