Tom Armstrong & Stuart Bowditch end of Residency Late Night Opening

February 10, 2024

Join Tom and Stuart to celebrate the end of their month-long residencies at the Minories.

Tom will have made an entire 9-hole mini golf course, with each hole inspired by a work of art from the Victor Batte-Lay Art Collection. Bring a team and see if you can win the ultimate mini-golf tournament!

Stuart will be performing the outcome of a month’s worth of gathering sounds, editing and working together with visitors to make a soundscape responding to the engraving by David Lucas of John Constable’s painting of Stanway Mill, Colchester in our permanent collection.

Entry is free

Timings:

6 – 7pm – Mini-ories golf tournament part 1, with music (possibly golf-themed, possibly not) and drinks, in the Girling Room

Our exhibitions ‘Mark Edwards: Countless Edens’ and ‘Work in Progress’ will also be open late on this evening to explore at your own pace.
