Artist’s Talk

Internationally renowned artist Will Teather discusses his latest work, The Colchester Globes and its origins, with the chance to ask questions about the creative process and his techniques.

Workshop
3.30 – 5pm

Following the talk, there is also the option to attend a 90-minute workshop with Will on 360-degree perspective. The workshop will introduce all major methods of depicting space used within realist drawing, including 1, 2 and 3-point perspective, axonometric perspective, perspective from real life and finally, a 360 drawing of a room!

Participants will need to bring pencils and a pad of paper.

Will Teather’s paintings have been exhibited internationally to acclaim, with recent venues including Bridgehampton Museum, New York, Artwars at Red Dot Miami, RJD Gallery New York and as a finalist in the London Contemporary Art Prize. His next one-person show will see him return to London’s Royal Exchange with Red Eight Gallery. He is the Artist-in-Residence for Norwich Arts Centre, following on from previous residencies with venues in New York and Aberdeen.
