Top notch live stand-up comedy – Edinburgh Previews from:
Ross McGrane “Get Rich or Die Trying”
“Nobody on this planet makes me laugh as hard as Ross McGrane” (Jordan Gray). An hour of stand-up from award-winning Essex-based comedian Ross McGrane. An established pro on the circuit, Ross ‘lights up the room like an arsonist with a can of petrol’ (Russell Kane). Ross has been official tour support for Russell Kane, Jayde Adams, Geoff Norcott, Esther Manito and Jordan Gray, as well as performing regularly in some of the country’s most prestigious venues.
Spring Day
“As seen on BBC’s Live at the Apollo, American transplant Spring Day provides dark comedy for nice people. Spring joined a Christian cult at 13-year-old and left 13 years later. She’s never talked about it before because she didn’t think you heathens would understand. Watch her recount why she joined and how she escaped a growing fundamentalist Christian community that had become her whole world. Expect one hell of a coming-of-age story about finding faith as Spring explores the nature of cults and the role they play in our everyday lives. “

ALL BOOKINGS NEED TO BE CONFIRMED VIA HAZEL – email – FUNNYFARMCOMEDY@GMAIL.COM
We will be asking for donations to help pay acts for reservations. Recommended £8 donation per seat booked but whatever you can manage.
This is an outdoor gig at The Horse and Groom Pub, Wivenhoe starting 6.30pm (doors 5.30pm), there is limited seating available. Please book tables in advance.
We will be requesting donations for table reservations in order to help us pay our professional acts. This would be preferable via BACs in advance but we will collect donations on the night too.
The Funny Farm would recommend bringing the following: warm clothes (it may still get cold), mozzie repellent & waterproof (just in case!)
This is a cracking comedy line-up with pro comics and the Funny Farm needs the audience’s help in covering the costs.
I’ve been asked by the pub staff to remind people it’s polite to return empty glasses to the bar or the empties tray outside. There – I’ve done it x
