Keep Colchester Cool presents… on Saturday 10th September, taking place in The Soundhouse of The Bull with:

Not Going Out

The winners of SoUNDAY Shopping and openers of the Hollytrees Stage at Colchester Free Festival, this lot are getting attention as a great band to party to (and with). Get the beers in and have a dance.

Signed to Folkwit Records, Keep Colchester Cool brings Snippet’s live acoustic show to this gig. In the past month alone, Snippet has released his debut album ‘Slowly slowly catchee monkey’, been interviewed by Tom Robinson on BBC6 Music as well as recieved airplay from Gideon Coe on the same station.
Q Magazine wrote “Dry of humour and lo-fi of sound, the skewed pop of Colchester’s Snippet is reminiscent of early Beck”

Frontline Music

Fresh acoustic sound with an urban feel. If you like Plan B you’ll appreciate this Colchester act.

Natasha Robertson

A vocal gem unearthed at an open mic night. Natasha starts the night at 9pm so don’t miss her.

The gig takes place in The Soundhouse at the back of The Bull, 2-4 Crouch Street from 9pm.
