22.39°C A series of free live music afternoons will take place at Castle Park Bandstand in Colchester this spring and summer as Café in the Park presents its Soundwave Sessions programme.
The series brings a mix of local performers, choirs, jazz groups and concert bands to the park between April and August. With the bandstand set in the middle of Castle Park, the events offer a relaxed way to spend an afternoon outdoors while enjoying live music.
Entry is free, so it is simply a case of turning up, finding a spot near the bandstand and enjoying the performances.
