firstsite has collaborated with the Arts Council and The Creative Coop to seize an opportunity to make use of a three storey Georgian building, right in the heart of the  town centre.  And today 15 Queen Street opened its doors as a creative members hub,  aiming to connect creative people living and working in Colchester; offering space for creativity to flourish and providing opportunities to collaborate, pick up work and get projects off the ground.

15 Queen Street also  offers a brand new meeting space in Colchester’s town centre. Whether you run a local business, training workshops or a community group,  the venue  provides a stunning, contemporary meeting space that’s affordable for every occasion.

For 2 to 12 people,  the  state-of-art ‘community pod’ is available by the hour, half day and full day with discounts offered to charities and not-for-profit organisations and is perfect for small-scale presentations, seminars or conferences.
