About the event

The Five Parishes Show returns to Peldon for its 90th event. First held in 1926 as a simple flower show, it has grown into a traditional country show and a popular day out, attracting more than 2,000 visitors each year.

Run entirely by volunteers and operating as a non-profit event, all money raised goes back into running the show and supporting local charities.

The main ring entertainment runs from 11am to 5pm and includes the M.A.D. BMX display, K&H Falconry with their birds of prey, the Romford Drum and Trumpet Corps, Tendring Dog Agility and the popular Musical Bales for dogs and their owners.

Around the showground, there will also be craft stalls, a catering village, a competition marquee with horticultural, domestic and children’s classes, displays by the East Anglian Kite Fliers, as well as a Horse Show and Dog Show.
