The festival forms the finale of Colchester! a week of grassroots celebration and events featuring   music, art and culture taking place in venues throughout the town, from Monday 13th through to Saturday 18th September.

New Town Kings, a popular 9 piece Ska/Reggae band will grace the festival stage with their blistering live set featuring their own unique, energetic sound with influences from classic Ska, Punk and the Two Tone era. 2010 has seen the band please crowds at venues and festivals around the country, including a sell out gig at Colchester Arts Centre. Angry vs The Bear will bring frantic, noisy, fizzy electro pop punk to the festival   and will play in Colchester in the middle of a six week UK Tour. So far this year the eccentric quartet have toured extensively, including the SXSW festival   in Texas (for the second year running), and released their debut single Show Emotion which was Pick of the Week on Huw Stephens’ Radio 1 show.

Music fans will also experience live music on the second stage which will be located in Upper Castle Park, and from ‘Busk Stops’ throughout the Park and via the various Music Workshops that will be taking place.
