Folk on the Rec comes to Old Heath Recreation Ground, Colchester on Saturday 5 September.

The free community festival celebrates folk music, acoustic performances and local talent, bringing together grassroots musicians for a day of live entertainment in a relaxed outdoor setting.

Alongside the music, visitors can enjoy food and drink, a bar, local makers and stalls, and family-friendly activities throughout the day.

Running from 11am to 6pm, the event aims to create a welcoming atmosphere where people can gather, relax, and enjoy live music outdoors.

Admission is free.
