The Northern Soul Day Party comes to Colchester on Saturday 14 November, celebrating the music and dance culture that emerged from the Northern Soul scene.

The daytime event promises an afternoon of classic Northern Soul records, rare grooves and dancefloor favourites, with DJs playing the fast-paced soul tracks that became synonymous with all-nighters and dance halls across the UK.

Organisers are aiming to recreate the atmosphere of a traditional Northern Soul event, with plenty of opportunities for dancers and music fans to enjoy some of the scene’s best-loved records.
