The Art & Science of Glaze Making and Technology
Don’t miss this opportunity to glaze your way to ceramic success!
Glazing is a crucial step in ceramics, but it often gets overlooked or rushed. It can make or break your ceramic creations. It adds beauty, durability, and personality to your pieces.
In this class, with the help of experienced ceramicist Peter Jones, you will learn how to make your own glazes and apply them to fired clay.
You will understand the difference between glossy, satin and dry glazes, onglaze and underglaze and how to choose and apply the glaze from dipping and pouring to spraying. You will also learn how to avoid common glaze problems and start imagining new stunning designs.
Expect to experiment and make tests that you can take home once they have been fired.
