This priceless diamond is rumoured to have been gifted to William Shakespeare by Queen Elizabeth I herself… but the jewel also carries with it a curse, for every one of its owners have died in mysterious circumstances.

Just two weeks’ ago, the body of the Solitaire’s most recent owner – renowned actor Henry Lear – was discovered at a Guildford auction house. Tonight, his only daughter is seeking to sell it and rid the family of its terrible curse.

But will Mr Lear’s death be the end, or is it just the beginning?
