10.41°C Colchester’s music community continues to rally following the tragic death of Nick Alexander.
Following Anthony Roberts’ announcement that Colchester Arts Centre will host a tribute event, Peace, Love and Understanding – A Tribute to Nick Alexander, on 28 December 2015, further support is now coming from Tom Donovan Studios.
Tom Donovan has offered free studio time to local bands who wish to record a cover of “I Love You All The Time” by Eagles of Death Metal. The band have encouraged artists worldwide to cover the song to raise money for victims of the Paris attacks.
Nick Alexander, a well-known and much-loved figure within the music scene, was among those who lost their lives. In response, Tom has pledged to record and mix as many local bands as possible who want to take part in the fundraising effort.

It’s another example of the way the Colchester music community is coming together — honouring Nick’s memory through creativity, solidarity and support.
