9.29°C Freekie Fest returns on Saturday, 23rd July 2011, in a countryside location on the Essex/Suffolk border, not too far from Colchester.
The Tech Arena is back this year, joined by a brand new tent hosting some of the finest local Reggae, Breaks and Drum & Bass DJs – plus a very special guest in the shape of Drum & Bass godfather Ray Keith.
Ray Keith will appear with his new band in the afternoon, performing classic tracks including Chopper and Renegade Terrorist, before closing the night with a three-hour DJ set.
The ever-popular Stumble INN also returns, featuring local talent playing classic funk, jazz and hip hop from start to finish.

Freekie Fest aims to create the best intimate underground music event in the area, set in an amazing countryside location, with top-quality audio and visual production, funky décor, and a friendly crowd of music and party lovers.
Food will once again be provided by the local kings of curry, Chickpea Co, alongside the Homemade Barbi. Breakfast will be available in the morning.
Safe camping is available on site, and organisers encourage festival-goers to camp where possible. It reduces local traffic during unsociable hours and makes for a far better overall experience.
