The last time FuzzFace — featuring Ady Johnson, Matt Simpkins, Toby Bull and Mark Turnbull — played live was at the Keep Colchester Cool Christmas Party in 2009. Now they’re returning for a special one-off show next month.
Organising a 40th birthday calls for something memorable, and this one brings together a strong cross-section of Colchester’s music scene.
Widely regarded as one of the town’s best bands of the last decade, FuzzFace will briefly step back onto the stage for a night that also features Housework, Greg Blackman and GrownSoul DJs Shoesy and CantCutCarwyn.
Keep Colchester Cool takes over The Soundhouse at The Bull in Crouch Street on Saturday 5 February 2010 for a gig that’s open to all.
After a year of putting on events and meeting plenty of good people along the way, the aim is simple: a proper party that everyone can come to — not an invite-only affair.
Having this line-up of Colchester talent playing for the occasion makes it all the more special.
