Following the success of their first self-curated festival, The Meffs return with Meff-Fest 2 at Sub Zero, University of Essex, this Saturday 31 May.

The Colchester punk duo, Lily Hopkins on vocals and guitar and Lewis Copsey on drums, are on a rapid rise. Over the past year, they’ve supported Alice Cooper and Primal Scream on a UK arena tour, performed at Hyde Park with Kings of Leon, and released their debut album What A Life on Fat Mike’s Bottles to the Ground label. 2025 is proving even more promising!

Known for their raw energy and sharp songwriting, The Meffs are gaining ground across the UK and Europe.

Now, they’re hosting their second all-dayer, bringing together some of the most exciting names on the circuit. Meff-Fest 2 features performances from Snayx, Saffron Sprackling of Republica, Native James, Pieces, Pizzatramp, Carsick, and DJ PressPlay.

Expect eight hours of punk and noise with serious intent, delivered with the same live energy that’s made The Meffs a must-see act.
